Occasionally, Mikey B jumps in to play guitar (that’s him on the left)..then Scottyg, then the great owners (who have thrown a lot of support TNG’s way) of the Texas Longbranch in Hegeler, Illinois, then Ace Lee, Drummer Bob and T-Bomb
Now for the story as I see it! I first met T-Bomb when she was still Teresa and we both worked at Arby’s. This was wayyy back in 1993. Craziness seems to follow me where ever I go and I ended up with some loser boyfriend who took off and left me with no way to pay all the rent so, as the best friend a girl could have does, she offered me a place to stay. I stayed with her and her daughter who was about a year old at the time. Then I went on a road trip out west.
After an unpleasant year and a half (I really missed the Midwest) I came back and looked her up. She had a new boyfriend (who has always been Ace Lee lol) and his roommate at the time, Joe (a former bandmember-turned-sound-tech) and met MikeyB and Scottyg about the same time. This all happened in 1996. We were all great friends for years and I got to hang out at many a band practice that occurred in the dining room…The cops were called all the time; that neighborhood was crazy! lol Well, of course, life happened and I was away for a few years, trying to get my life together (which I am not so good at lol)
I ran into Ace and Mikey at the store and we started gabbing again and I was blown away when they told me they were playing shows and doing their thing! I started going to a couple of shows and totally love it. It’s an awesome feeling to know that my friends are doing what they’ve dreamed of for so long and that it’s happening for them. And one of the things I love about these guys is that even though I’ve been away for a while, they make me feel like I never left! Now that’s a friend!

Sorry I have not updated my blog in awhile. We have been really busy with the California details..
We are scheduled to play the famous Whisky a Go Go in Hollywood Ca. on June 25th.
T-N-G has over 50 tickets already pre-sold for this show!!
I Will keep you updated as much as possible.. In the meantime check out our new you tube interview..lol.. we will be posting several clips of Tongue-N-Gruve behind the music videos.. laugh, leave a comment, ect..
