Tomorrow afternoon will be when the announcement is officially made as to what to do with Carl Edwards. Edwards, in a fit of immaturity and pique, deliberately went after Brad Keselowski, taking him out of the race in which he was heading for a possible top five finish. Edwards admitted to doing it on purpose and didn’t apologize. Keselowski was VERY fortunate not to have been hurt, as he went airborne and landed on the roof.
Many people feel Edwards went way, way too far and are hoping for a reasonably severe punishment, despite the new easing of restrictions by NASCAR this season in order to let the drivers police themselves. They have policed themselves in the past, and it works out fine. But if someone steps over the line, there should be consequences.
